This statistic shows the percentage distribution of the number of comics marketed in Spain in 2024, according to the country of origin of the publication. In that year, approximately **** percent of the publications marketed in Spain came from the United States and Canada, surpassing European comics. Among the latter, Spain maintained the lead, with about **** percent of the comics being of national production. However, neither the North American nor the European market was the main origin of the Spanish comic industry. The continuous growth of the manga genre was consolidated in 2024, positioning it once again at the forefront. Specifically, approximately ** percent of the comics marketed in Spain were translations of Japanese comics.
