This chart highlights the opinion of the French on membership in the European Union between 2011 and 2021. Just under half of the French considered France's membership in the EU to be a good thing in 2021, a figure slightly higher than in previous years. Nearly 30 percent of the French remained neutral throughout the entire period studied. The proportion of respondents who consider the EU to be a bad thing remains steady, with nearly a quarter of the French holding this opinion.
