The prevalence of depressive syndromes during the first lockdown is significantly higher than in 2019, demonstrating the impact of the Covid-19 health crisis lockdowns on the mental health of the French population. Indeed, 12 percent of respondents exhibited depressive syndromes during the lockdown compared to only 8 percent in 2019. Women were more affected than men.
