This statistic shows the opinion of the French on the attitude that France should, according to them, adopt regarding the reception of migrants and immigration, based on their political views. The more right-wing the respondents were, the more they believed that France should close itself off further, with up to ** percent of RN supporters and ** percent of LR supporters endorsing this opinion. The views of respondents supporting LFI, PS, EELV, and LREM were more mixed, although at least ** percent of French people from all political backgrounds believed that France should close itself off further to immigration. One-third of LFI, PS, EELV, and LREM supporters believed that nothing should change. The French most favorable to immigration were EELV and LFI supporters, with ** and ** percent respectively believing that France should open up more to immigration.
