Young French people aged 16 to 25 seem to identify slightly more with the Left (** percent) than with the Right (** percent) when asked to position themselves on a political scale. However, the largest portion has difficulty positioning themselves; indeed, ** percent of respondents do not place themselves either on the Left or the Right of the political spectrum. It can be noted that this phenomenon also affects the entire population and not just young people, as nearly one in four French people also struggles to position themselves on this political scale.
