Stringency index of government measures against COVID-19 by country 2022
As of January 20, 2022, Germany was the country, among this selection, where government measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic were the strictest. These measures may include, among others, school closures, mandatory remote work, closure of public venues, or lockdowns. In contrast, countries less affected by the pandemic, such as Argentina or Nigeria, had implemented only a few restrictions at the beginning of 2022.
