According to a survey in 2024, 20 percent of women over the age of 30 years have not seen a medical professional about perimenopause or menopause. However, around 60 percent of them were already experiencing moderate to severe symptoms of (peri)menopause, according to the MRS*. In fact, over half of 30-35-year-old women already experienced moderate to severe (peri)menopause symptoms.
