The value of data center construction in the United States has increased more than threefold between 2019 and 2024. This growth is expected to accelerate even more over the next few years. Construction spending on data centers was expected to reach 42.2 billion U.S. dollars in 2025 and increase to close to ** billion U.S. dollars by 2029. Tokyo was the city with the highest costs for data center construction, followed by Singapore, Zurich, and Osaka.
