Construction value expectations of data centers in the U.S. 2022-2026
The share of construction contractors in the United States anticipating a higher value of data center projects they compete for in the coming year has increased significantly in recent years. In 2026, around ** percent of the respondents said that they were expecting to compete for a higher value of data center construction projects, while less than ** percent expected a lower value. This was a substantial increase in comparison to 2023, when the value expectations for data center construction were at their lowest. In 2023, ** percent of participants anticipated an increase in the value of construction projects, while ** percent predicted a lower valuation.
