Data centers were the sector in which the highest percentage of construction contractors in the United States anticipated the value of projects they compete for to increase in 2026. Around ** percent of the respondents stated that they were expecting a higher value of data center construction contracts. Conversely, ** percent of contractors said they anticipated a lower value of bridges and highway and lodging projects this year.
