A 2024 survey revealed that only almost ***percent of UK doctors reported being satisfied with their day-to-day work as a doctor. Doctors specialized in emergency medicine, surgery and general practice were less likely to be satisfied with their job. Doctors in these two specialties were also some of the ones at highest risk for burnout.
