'Card-Present Transactions' (CP) refers to payments where the physical card is presented at the point of business by tapping, swiping, or inserting the card.
'Card-Not-Present Transactions' (CNP) refers to payments made not at the point of business, where the physical card is not present. Typically, online or over-the-phone payment.
