The levelized cost of heat (LCOH) in Germany is forecast to decrease for each technology by 2030. Heat pump under 100º Celsius accounted for the cheapest LCOH in 2023 at ** euros per megawatt-hour thermal, and the figure is forecast to decrease to ** euros by 2030. Gas boilers' LCOH will decrease from ** to ** euros per megawatt-hour thermal.
