An April 2023 survey highlighted that U.S. drivers' habit of driving without voice AI was the leading barrier to the use of an AI-powered in-car voice assistant. Nearly ** percent of respondents selected this option, while another *** in ** consumers preferred other interfaces. This suggests nearly half of U.S. drivers do not use an AI voice assistant because of inertia and force of habit.Â
