An online survey was launched in October 2023 and was answered by 2,065 respondents, of which 1,919 were filled out by non-BEV drivers and 146 by BEV drivers in Germany.Â

Based on a survey conducted in Germany in **, three in ** battery-electric vehicle drivers fully agree that they know the origin of the electricity used to recharge their car at public chargers. However, ** percent of German respondents do not feel like they know about the origin of the electricity used for charging their BEVs.
