In 2024, about 81 percent of the Italian population would have an adequate breakfast in the morning, with milk and/or food. Moreover, close to 40 percent of the population would have a breakfast that included both milk and something to eat. This statistic breaks up these figures by regions. Umbria was the region in which the most people had an adequate breakfast, totaling 85.5 percent. On the other hand, Molise had the lowest share at 75 percent.
