Main reasons for South Korean variety show popularity overseas 2024
According to a survey conducted across 28 countries in 2024, around **** percent of respondents stated that the fun games and props used in South Korean variety shows were the leading reason for the popularity of K-dramas worldwide. While various variety shows are available on television, web-exclusive variety shows have become increasingly common and are now used as promotional tools for new music, drama, and movie releases.
