The regional elections in the region of Catalonia on May 12, 2024 saw the Socialist Party of Catalonia (PSC) become the party with the largest representation in parliament. With approximately 22 percent of the vote, the Junts per Catalunya won three new seats, bringing its total to 35. The Ciudadanos party, meanwhile, lost almost five percentage points, thus losing all of its parliamentary representation.
