Dengue transmission has a seasonal and cyclic component, with certain months accounting for a larger number of cases and larger outbreaks in the region usually taking place every three to five years.
From January to June 2025,there were no cases of dengue recorded in Chile. From 2021 to 2023, the average incidence rate of dengue in the country was very low, this figure amounted up to **** cases per 100,000 people in 2024. Chile is one of the countries with the lowest incidence rate of dengue in Latin America.Ìý
