According to a survey conducted in Chile between April and May 2024, the estimated percentage of the female population with mental health problems was still higher than that of men, despite the notable decrease experienced compared to April of the previous year. Specifically, nearly ** percent of women showed suspicion or presence of mental health problems, compared to *** percent in the case of men.
