In Portugal, the perception of corruption has increased during the analyzed period, despite being permanently high. In 2013, 90 percent of people thought that the problem of corruption was widespread in the country, while, by 2025, 91Â percent were of the same opinion. The percentage of people believing that there is no corruption in Portugal disappeared after 2017, when one percent of the population had that opinion.
