The source adds the following information: This indicator is calculated as the percentage of newly admitted long-term care residents who have a clinical profile similar to the profile of clients cared for at home with formal supports in place.
The Canada rate is based on all available data submitted to CIHI. Complete data coverage is available for Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and Yukon. Partial data coverage is available for Manitoba. Nova Scotia results are not reported due to insufficient data coverage. Saskatchewan results are not available due to data quality. No data is available for Prince Edward Island, Quebec, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
