A survey on the consumer perspective of the halal industry conducted in March 2023 in Indonesia found that more than half of respondents aged between 26 to 45 years always checked the ingredients list before purchasing products with halal logo. The same survey also found that nearly half of total respondents sometimes checked the ingredients list of a product that already had a halal logo.
