A report asking news and publishing industry leaders about their coverage of climate change found that 49 percent had created a climate team to raise the profile of the topic in an effort to improve their coverage, and 44 percent introduced measures to ensure that the climate was taken into consideration by all beats. However, only a little over 20 percent of responding industry leaders said staff in their organization had received training on climate reporting.
