A study conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain found that anxiety and depressive disorders were the most common reasons for consulting mental health professionals in the European country as of February 2021. That year, nearly * mental health consultations were related to these two conditions. Anxiety disorders alone accounted for **** percent of consultations. Meanwhile, over *** interviewees seeking mental health care in Spain suffered from depressive disorders.
