According to a survey conducted in June 2021, some 57 percent of Canadian respondents said the most important factor when deciding where to shop for groceries was the store's value for money. Another 10.5 percent of respondents stated the store's proximity to their home as a deciding factor, while seven percent chose it because of product availability.
