Additionally, 90 respondents were interviewed each from France and Germany and 200 respondents each from the Netherlands and the rest of Europe (Poland, Romania, Belgium, Czechia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Slovakia, Ireland, Croatia).

As of March 2024, the main challenge expected by accommodation businesses in the Nordics over the next six months was the cost of energy, with 65 percent of respondents stating so. The cost of inputs and services ranked as the second highest challenge for accommodation businesses in the Nordics.
