* 80 respondents were interviewed from each country and region which included Austria, Croatia, Ireland, Greece, Italy, the Nordics (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland), Portugal, Poland, Spain, Netherlands, France and Germany and 200 respondents each from the rest of Europe (Romania, Belgium, Czechia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Slovakia).

As of April 2025, the share of accommodation businesses in Europe that believed their economic situation was very good was 58 percent. In contrast, the share of accommodation businesses that thought their economic situation was very poor was nine percent.
