RappiPay is the fintech founded in 2019 by Colombian startup Rappi and Banco Davivienda. By 2022, the financial platform had more than 800,000 people with an account and had issued more than 220,000 credit cards. For 40 percent of these new credit card holders, this was the first time they had a credit card. That year, Bancolombia, Banco de Bogotá, Davivienda, and Itau granted financing of more than 100 million U.S. dollars to the digital company.
