When retail executives in the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) were asked about the main reasons for using smart devices in stores, over half of them cited affordability of such devices, and scalability as some of main benefits. The fact that smart devices can be used for a variety of tasks were also deemed a key reason by ** percent of retailers who took part in the survey.
