Among presented Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries, Poland had the largest consumption of energy derived from oil as well as coal. Ukraine topped the ranking by consumption of energy from gas, at around petajoules in 2019. In Czechia, the most consumed sources of energy were oil, electricity, and gas in 2020.
