A survey led among adults found that the most popular Christmas movie in the United States is "Home Alone", as mentioned by 15 percent of respondents. This was closely followed by "It's a Wonderful Life" with 12 percent, "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, also by 12 percent of respondents. "Elf" and and "A Christmas Story" were mentioned by 11 percent of respondents.
