Pepsi is the most well-known soft drink brand in the U.S. The American brand of carbonated soft drinks is recognized by 95 percent of internet respondents. Following Pepsi in second place is Coca-Cola, with a brand recognition of 94 percent. Joining it in second place is Sprite, which also incorporates a 94 percent brand awareness in the United States. 

For this study, brand awareness was surveyed employing the concept of aided brand recognition, showing respondents both the brand's logo and the written brand name.
