A survey of journalists in the United States found that there are differences in attitudes to how different sides of an issue or story should be covered. While about half of 50 to 64-year-olds and those aged 65 and above believed that journalists should always strive to give every side equal coverage, 63 percent of those aged 18 to 29 years said that every side does not deserve equal coverage. Similarly, 60 percent of those aged 30 to 49 also did not agreed that every side should get equal coverage.
