In the sports season of 2020/21, the largest group of athletes actively engaging in baseball in Israel was between ages 12 and 17. This age group constituted 53.7 percent of the baseball players in the country. Children aged 7-11 accounted for the second-largest group of athletes, at 15.9 percent. In contrast, the share of players aged 61 and older stood at 1.1 percent.
