In the sports season 2020/21, the largest group of athletes actively engaging in taekwondo in Israel was between ages 12 and 17. This age group constituted 47.2 percent of the athletic competitors in the country. People aged 18-24 accounted for the second-largest group of athletes, at 28.3 percent. In contrast, the share of athletes aged 7-11 stood at 0.3 percent.
