In the sports season 2020/21, the largest group of athletes actively engaging in table tennis in Israel was aged 12-17. This age group constituted 27.7 percent of the table tennis players in the country. People between the ages of 45 and 60 years accounted for the second-largest group of athletes, making up 27.3 percent. In contrast, the share of table tennis players aged 7-11 stood at five percent.
