In 2022, nearly 40 percent of consumers in Canada that planned to dress up for Halloween said they intended to spend between 51 and 100 U.S. dollars on their costumes. In the United States, just under 30 percent of consumers planned to spend this amount. This survey group included respondents that were planning to buy an entire costume as well as shoppers that wanted to buy items they needed to make their own outfits.
