According to a survey conducted in selected Middle Eastern countries in February to March 2022, 45 percent of all Muslim respondents stated plan to spend the same amount for gifts as last year during Ramadan in 2022. The share of Muslim respondents stating they want to spend more on gifts compared to the previous year during Ramadan was the highest in the UAE at about 52 percent.
