Respondent share given here is based on respondents who chose the option 'I actively celebrate Ramadan every year.'
According to a survey conducted in selected Asian countries in February and March 2022, over 98 percent of all surveyed Muslim respondents stated to actively celebrate Ramadan every year. The share was highest in Indonesia at 99.8 percent. Uzbekistan was the only country in Asia where less than 90 percent of the surveyed Muslims stated to partake in Ramadan celebrations each year.
