The survey question was asked as follows: "Have there been times in the past 12 months when you did not have enough money to buy food that you or your family needed?''
In a survey conducted in Ghana between July and September 2021, 61 percent of respondents indicated that, in the 12 months prior to being interviewed, there had been times they did not have enough money to buy food according to the needs of their family. The remaining 39 percent reported that they did not lack money to cater for their family in terms of food.
