In 2019, ** percent of surveyed Ghanaians thought that the level of taxation in the country was about the right amount. Moreover, while some ** percent thought that the value of taxes was far too much, ** percent felt that it was only somewhat too much. Furthermore, according to the same survey, more than ** percent of Ghanaians were willing to pay more taxes for national development.
