As inflation rises and prices increase, French leaders are expected to take action by the French population. When surveyed in early July 2022, less than a third of French people reported having confidence in the new government to deal with this phenomenon. Sympathizers of the parties Reconquête!, Rassemblement National, and La France Insoumise were the least confident, while over ** percent of those close to Emmanuel Macron's party trusted the government to handle the problem.
