In a context of rising inflation and significant price increases, French leaders are expected to take action by the French population. When surveyed in early July 2022, less than a third of French people said they had confidence in the new government to deal with this phenomenon. The age groups among which most people were confident were those aged between 18 and 24 (** percent), and those over ** (** percent). In contrast, only about one in five year olds trusted the government to deal with the rising costs of living.
