According to a survey conducted in selected Latin American countries in 2022, more than out of ten respondents across all countries agreed that the government had a great deal or fair amount of responsibility to reduce their contribution to climate change by reducing carbon emissions. Colombians were the ones who mostly agreed to that, with ** percent of the respondents. Meanwhile, at least ** percent of respondents in all countries surveyed also recognized that individuals around the world had a great responsibility to lower carbon emissions as a way to reduce their contribution to climate change.
