At the end of the fiscal year 2023, **** percent of all micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Malaysia operated in the wholesale and retail trade sector. Wholesale and retail trade was the most common sector for MSMEs across all surveyed ASEAN countries.
