An online survey conducted in the United States in November 2021 found that ** percent of respondents said people have little control over the things they see on social media sites, whilst a third said that users have no control over what they see. Overall, just *** in *** respondents stated that they felt social media users had a lot of control over what content they see in their social media news feeds.
