After falling slightly between 2012 and 2015, the number of police officers in Copenhagen increased until 2021, before falling slightly again in 2022. In 2015, there were a little more than active police officers in the Danish Capital, a number that had increased to more than by 2022. At the same time, the number of reported crimes in the city has decreased since 2016.
