As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to make inroads in nearly all aspects of business across the world, nations must adapt to this change and gain an understanding on the widespread effects on their economies. The Nordic countries are no exception, integrating AI across a variety of sectors and businesses. Already, the region has made immense gains in the adoption of AI, with its use nearly doubling in many segments. The AI market in the region has also taken leaps in size, having grown from some two billion U.S. dollars in 2020 to around four billion in 2024, with a staggering growth of a billion U.S. dollars between 2023 and 2024.
