In the 2018/2019 crop year, Cargill Ghana Limited accounted for over ** percent of the locally processed cocoa beans in Ghana, while Niche Cocoa Industries Limited represented percent of the total. Another leading local cocoa processing company was Barry Callebaut Limited, which processed slightly over ** percent of the beans.
